Yes but what if you are away for several days and do not want to ask a friend or neighbor to water your plants whilst you are away? Certain house plants are known to be rather demanding in terms of their watering requirements. Fortunately there are suppliers who have considered this problem for you.
Bördy & Froggy: friends to your house plants
Scheurich have designed a clever AND decorative watering system for your house plants. Simply fill the little frog or bird with water, insert it into the soil next to the plant and check the water level from time to time. The lower part of the ceramic throat gradually releases water into the soil over time. Available in various colors and sizes.
- Bördy: diameter: 5, 6 and 9 cm ; height: 16, 20 or 30 cm ; tank capacity: 90, 220 et 620 ml. There is even a luminescent version which uses LEDs.
- Froggy: diameter 8 cm, height 16 cm, tank capacity: 140 ml.
H2O: an elegant and efficient watering kit
Artevasi offers an optional watering kit with each of their potted plant ranges. The H2O system is supplied with installation instructions. For the initial watering, you should pour water directly onto the soil and monitor the water level through the water level indicator. Thereafter, you simply maintain the water level by adding water directly through the filler tube (2). The green level indicator (1) shows both the minimum and maximum recommended levels. Thanks to this system your plant can manage their own consumption.
