Photo shoot in a dream garden
The “De tuin van Regine” garden in Meulebeke, West Flanders, is an English-inspired ornamental garden (50 ares) divided into green rooms by yew hedges and boxwood topiaries, with resting corners, a rose cradle, pergolas and a rose garden. A beautiful “open” garden (see conditions on the site) for connoisseurs and lovers of less common plants and flowers.
Mixed borders and collections of unusual perennials alternate with about 100 climbing and bush roses. A vegetable garden, an aromatic herb garden, sixty clematis and nearly one hundred varieties of herbs, as well as a wide variety of perennials, several greenhouses, an orchard and palisaded fruit trees surround a romantic house covered with roses, wisteria and jasmine.
It was there that Croix Chatelain spent a wonderful day setting his metal decorations to suit the photographer’s fantasy.
Thanks to the owners for opening their garden.
